Who I am
glass is a wedding videography business run by Francis English [as a sole trader / limited company name and number], based in [town, UK]. I'm responsible for the personal information you share through this website. You can contact me at francis@combustionproductions.com.
What I collect
When you send an enquiry, I receive what you type into the form:
- your names and email address
- your wedding date, venue and the package you're interested in
- anything else you choose to tell me in your message
I don't use tracking cookies or advertising tools on this website.
Why I use it
I use your details only to reply to your enquiry, check my availability, and, if you book, to plan and deliver your wedding film. The legal basis is that you've asked me to take steps towards a contract with you. I never sell your details or add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who else handles it
- Formspree receives the enquiry form and emails it to me. It is based in the United States and protects transferred data under standard contractual clauses.
- Vercel hosts this website and keeps short-term server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
- Google Fonts supplies some of the website's typefaces, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when the page loads.
- [My email provider, e.g. Google Workspace or Zoho Mail] stores our emails.
How long I keep it
If you don't book, I delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you do book, I keep your details for as long as I need them to deliver your film, and booking and payment records for 6 years for tax purposes.
Your films and photos
I only show a couple's film, stills or review on this website or social media with their permission, and I'll take them down if you ask.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing francis@combustionproductions.com. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
